Ems & Co. is the place where great cooking and a relaxed atmosphere meet. Our small, delicious menu is created with locally sourced fresh and seasonal ingredients. Whether for pastries, salads, baked savouries, bespoke cakes or catering, come and visit us!

HOMEMADE PASTRIES

A few examples of what we do:

Turkish Lahma

Soft fluffy dough stuffed with fillings such as bacon jam and cheese; or peppers baba ghanoush and fennel. 

Sweet Tarts

Classic lemon tart, caramel custard tart, chocolate, or frangipane.

Classic Croissant

Plain, or stuffed with things like mango, passionfruit and mascarpone. Laminated in the shop with English Estate Dairy Butter.

Hand Folded Pies

Potato dauphinoise, lamb tagine, beef bourguignon, chicken pastilla. The filling possibilities are endless. 

Sponge Cake

Every day is different. Ranging from Victoria spomge; chocolate sponge cake; ginger loaf; coffee and hazelnut to orange and cardamom. 

Signature Cinnamon Bun

The bake we are most proud of, soft, buttery, gooey, spiced and comforting. ​​​

Chunky Sausage Rolls

Baked fresh every day, choose from black pudding or fennel and rosemary.

Choux

From Paris-Brest to seasonal eclairs, we love to bake!

Pain Suisse

Cross laminated croissant pastry stuffed with vanilla custard and Valrhona chocolate, or how about the savoury option of Mallorcan Sobrasada and Mahon cheese?

COFFEE

From independent Perthshire coffee company Unorthodox Roasters. Freshly brewed Tokyo espresso awaits!

TEA

Sourced ethically and blended in Edinburgh by Pekoe Tea. 

SOFT DRINKS

San Pellegrino, Cawston Press, Idyll Iced Tea.

ABOUT US

Established in 2025, Emily has taken over what was the Spence Art Gallery in Crieff, after leaving local 5 star hotel, Cromlix as the Head Pastry Chef. With 15 years experience in the hospitality industry Emily started Ems and Co. to present delicious and simple food, with an emphasis on the bountiful Scottish produce available on our doorstep. Emily previously ran a cafe under the same name in Dingwall, but moved to Perthshire to live with her partner and two step-children. She can't wait to welcome you all to the shop in Crieff!
